A blog all about riding the roller coaster: discovery, discussion, and dissection of what it means to share in today’s dizzying digital world
About the Author, Christy Pill:
I hail from wild and wonderful West Virginia, but have enjoyed marketing performing arts in New York City since the summer of 2005. In my current role at Miller Theatre, I handle a varied array of items: press releases and outreach, concert playbills, eblasts, print collateral, and advertisements, to name a few.
In 2006 I began my graduate journey in strategic communications at Columbia University—this led to the class that led to this blog. I also attended the University of Richmond, where I studied arts management and dance. While I clearly love the arts, “communications” in general are growing on me. So who knows what the long-term future could hold? I’m open-minded.
In my spare time I like to cook, eat, practice bikram yoga, lollygag in Central Park, and take in dance and theater shows. I live in Washington Heights, aka Upstate Manhattan. It’s far, but not too much so, and I appreciate my view of the Hudson and the Palisades.
